We’re big fans of pretty much anything audio. Maybe you’re part of a psychedelic post-thrash prog-metal cover band. Or you perform live drum & bass using only kitchen utensils. Or maybe you’re a slick DJ who never fails to rock a d-floor.
Put simply: if you’ve got an interesting sound, doesn’t matter if it’s well-worn or brand-new, we want you at RootBound! 🎶

Have you got a special skill that you can share or a unique talent you like to show off? Do you do circus tricks roaming about dressed up in bizarre costumes? Maybe you're an epic fire twirler or an enchanting story-teller? Can you turn a six year old into a koala using only your trusty face paints? Or maybe you’re good at warping minds via brain-bending dancefloor visuals or décor art? Well, this is the form for you!

As with everything we do, we're especially looking for eco-conscious performances. Anything that recycles, uses planet-friendly resources, or incorporates some kind of environmental or socially aware messaging is gonna get first dibs.

I don’t know about you, but we’re always up for a skill-share.

Are you the kind of person who has knowledge about the plants and animals of the area? Or do you have a fun or interesting skill that you think other festival-goers might like to learn? Anything that educates or shares skills is right up our alley (within reason, no chainsaw juggling classes please!).

We’re particularly interested in things that might make the world a better place. If that sounds like your jam, then this form is your new bestie.

Calling all visual artists!

RootBound is stoked to be hosting a visual arts gallery again at this years’ event. We’re expanding the eco-conscious and community-building vision of the festival by creating a space for artists to exhibit and sell their original works.

It’s an important space that we’d love to see grow into integral part of the festival experience. So we’re making a commitment to support and encourage visual artists to keep creating the kind of works that mystify, challenge, and inspire us.

As with everything we do, preference will be given to artists using eco-friendly materials and/or incorporating themes of community and nature.

If you're keen to hold a space for massage or sell food or handcrafts, or fulfil some other festival need, please fill in this form.

Please note that it is a requirement that any market stalls be free of disposable plastics. Plastic bags, single-use cutlery, etc. are not acceptable at this event. Preferences will be given to markets showing a solid attempt at sustainability.
